Het doel van de taalcanon is inzichten over taal onder de aandacht te brengen van een breed publiek. Op deze website zijn lemma’s te vinden uit allerlei deelgebieden van de taalwetenschap, geschreven door experts. De website biedt een platform voor discussie tussen taalwetenschappers en het lezerspubliek. Daarnaast streven wij naar een vruchtbare kruisbestuiving tussen verschillende disciplines van de taalwetenschap.

This exciting quarterly publication, which ceased publication in its 27th year, was designed to help all those families who, for various reasons, are in a situation where they can give their children (and themselves) the advantages of being bi- or multi-lingual. The newsletter published short informative articles on current thoughts on language learning, bilingualism, biculturalism, mother tongue, schools, etc. It also published descriptions of how particular families have managed in their particular situations, problems encountered and how these were overcome. Readership: mixed marriage families; expatriate families in embassies, schools, contract work etc.; immigrant families; students of language learning; researchers in field of bilingualism. Launching on the 2012 European Day of Languages, languageknowledge.eu is a new website that visualizes language knowledge in Europe based on the latest European Commisson survey data, published this summer in the "Europeans and their languages" Eurobarometer.

The interactive website allows visitors to find out which languages are most widely known in Europe, by country, age groups, and see the split between native speakers and people who learnt the language later in life. Visitors can also pick any language to see in which countries that language is most popular.

InCultureParent

InCultureParent is an online magazine for parents raising little global citizens. Centered around culture and tradition, it features articles on parenting around the world and raising multicultural and multilingual (also bicultural and bilingual) children. Each month, it spotlights different global holidays together with craft ideas for kids and recipes. There are also reviews of good books for kids that have a multicultural theme or feature different cultures.
