La Fondation Forum du bilinguisme, créée à Bienne en 1996, a pour objectif la promotion du bilinguisme à travers la recherche scientifique et par la prise de mesures qui facilitent, au besoin, la cohabitation de plusieurs cultures linguistiques. Le Forum est soutenu par la ville de Bienne, le canton de Berne et l’Office fédéral de la culture.

Die im Jahr 1996 in Biel/Bienne ins Leben geru- fene Stiftung Forum für die Zweisprachigkeit bezweckt die Förderung der Zweisprachigkeit. Sie unterstützt und begleitet die wissenschaft- liche Forschung und schlägt, falls nötig und er- wünscht, Massnahmen für das bessere Zusam- menleben von mehreren Sprachgemeinschaften vor.
